Rate Types & Cancellation Terms
Each booking is subject to the specific policy displayed before confirmation
Free Cancellation
FlexibleYou may cancel free of charge up to the specific deadline stated (typically 24–72 hours before check-in). After the deadline, a charge applies as stated; final policy and decision rests with the hotel and inventory partner.
Non-Refundable
Best RateFull payment is taken at booking. No refund is issued on cancellation.
Partially Refundable
StandardA specific refund amount or period is stated at booking (e.g. first night retained as a cancellation fee).
Statutory Position on Cooling-Off Rights
Regulation 28(h) statutory provisions
The 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply to hotel accommodation bookings for specific dates — this exclusion comes from Regulation 28(h) of those Regulations (and the equivalent EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(l)) and is a statutory provision, not a HotelsMint policy choice. Confirming a booking means accepting this exclusion.
How to Cancel
Cancellation process & refund settlement timeline
Alternatively, email info@hotelsmint.com with your booking reference. Eligible refunds are processed within 14 business days after settlement with suppliers/hotels, returned to the original payment method.
Hotel Overbooking
Property accommodation resolution guidelines
If a hotel can't accommodate a confirmed booking, it is expected to provide equivalent or superior alternative accommodation at no extra cost, or a full refund. HotelsMint will assist in mediating a resolution but is not liable for the hotel's failure to honour a confirmed booking.
